Having just completed a series of highly successful “Woman’s Heart” concerts in Dublin, Eleanor continues her GIRL IN A BLACK CAR TOUR to coincide with the April release of her new album “If You Leave…”
Tuesday in Williamstown. Massachusetts; Thursday in New York; Sunday in Somerville, Massachusetts, Friday 20th in Dundalk, and then on Saturday, 21 September, at Blue Bar, Skerries, where Eleanor will hit the stage around 9 pm!
Her performances are intimate, emotional, uplifting affairs in which she explores soul, love and humour, using own compositions and interpretations from other songbooks, with her unique voice and beautiful playing.
Irish Times: “Mc Evoy’s facility with everything from Tex-Mex country to straight up three-chord trickery is a timely reminder of what sets a musician apart: a hunger for exploration and a deep-seated talent for exploring the darker corners of both music and life. ****”

And supporting Eleanor in this gig, Soundwaves welcomes i am niamh, comprised primarily of a Dublin-based solo project artist, Niamh Parkinson. Her musical style has be considered avant-garde, shown through her classically trained voice with idiosyncratic tendencies in her music.
“Classically trained soprano Niamh Parkinson cites everyone from Debussy to Deerhoof as an influence, and it shows. Her eerie, modern piano riffs and bold string arrangements make her one for Regina Spektor and Kate Bush devotees.” TIME OUT LONDON September 2013
