Art works by no less than 10 artists, many present in the audience.
Events organised by just as many Soundwaves event managers – again, most of them were there tonight.
Wine in two colours, and water in one.
Many familiar faces, and many we hope will become familiar over the next while.
Soundwaves 2015 has begun!
Gráinne Enright, our chair person, welcomed everybody and thanked many, including local businesses, the local community, Fingal County Council and the Arts Council for their ongoing and very valued support.
Sarah O’Neill (I hope I got the spelling right!), Deputy Arts Officer, Fingal County Council, spoke about the Arts Trail in particular. Details? Of course – see www.artwaves.ie – and even more importantly, see Skerries Mills, Skerries Bookshop, Bert’s Barbers, Martin Scully’s Hairdressing, Aidan O’Brien’s Butchers, The Shoe Horn, Wisteria, Olive Café and Deli, Sharkey for Men and Greg Reddin’s. Will you see them all???
For the rest, we’ll let the pictures do the talking.
