Sacred Marriage depicts the timeless union of opposites as symbolised by the 'marrying' of Masculine and Feminine principles.
This piece came about largely without any preconceived concept and became what it is almost by accident. The subsequent intaglio prints were then inspired by Rembrandt's monoprint techniques. It depicts the concept of the union of opposites to create something that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Medium: dry-point monoprint on Fabriano paper
Dimensions: approx 103cm x 40cm
Framed and ready to hang.
