A single piece of Valentia Island Slate. The image depicted is what emerged after staring at it for perhaps a year. What eventually emerged was an Image of Charon ferrying across the Styx. However while carving and putting on the Gold Leaf, a radio interview with a family being made homeless by a vulture fund landlord came on the radio and it seemed an appropriate title for the piece.
It can be hung as a low relief sculpture for outdoors or if required framed to hang simply as a painted stone
