Simon Quigley Ensemble

Simon Quigley is a pianist and composer. His contemporary classical compositions were launched at the National Concert Hall in April 2016. He was a founding member of successful indie group Sack, has recorded and performed with numerous well-known Irish artists...

.....including Camille O’Sullivan, Briana Corrigan (Beautiful South) Edwyn Collins and Dave Couse (Ex A House) whom he did two solo projects, including “The World Should Know” nominated as best Irish Album. He has also composed for documentaries and television series for RTÉ. With musical influences ranging from Kraftwerk , Steve Reich and Michael Nyman. He released “The Human Tide” in 2016, featuring “Ryan v the White Star Line” the story of Thomas Ryan and “Human Frailty” that addressed the migrant crisis. He produced an album for Fiach Moriarty called “The Revolution” and is currently writing a solo album.
